Default 80-84 people.

I'm thinking about building a web site with everything you ever wanted to know about how to trouble shoot the L-jet fuel system in a US 1980-84 928. And maybe, the ignition system too, if I get really bored.

I will be useing the WSM as a reference, as well as some Bosch publications, and my steadly increaseing knowlage of fluid mechenics. Hopefuly I'll be able to explain what I've learned. (Yea right uh?) I've had fun learning to trouble shoot my car, now maybe I can save someone else the same headace.

I'm in college and have the christmass holidays comeing up, so it's something to keep me from getting bored.

Is there any interest? I've noticed that there is some stuff on the web about the LH-jet, and alought about how to trouble shoot the K-jet, but very little on the 928's L-jet.

Oh, btw, I'm going to run it all through a spell checker so you don't have to worry about that!

Plus, I'm also curious how many 80-84 cars there are on rennlist, so drop in a line, if you read this post.

Well you sold me. Currently raising an 83. Want to make my spider look like Randy's soon.

I need to get back to work on my 928 website.

I belive one fuel pump. Under the fuel tank, behind a cover. I don't belive there is an in-tank pump. At least thats the only one I rember finding.

I'm not so intersted in the Euros, just the L-jet folks. I know very little about the LH-system, other than what carries over from the L-jet, so I'm no help there.

House calls?

Sure, but your paying for the gas, tires, insurance, and speeding tickets! That could get expensive...

Thanks ViribusUnits,
Additional question if I may, will the injector fire if the pressure in the fuel rail is not what it should be. I order a fuel pressure gauge, but it's not here yet.
