it is a new german car forum, the software the board uses is much better imo than rennlists format, they have stated if they get enough model specific people then they will create a subfolder under porsche for each model

I don't understand what you mean by not liking the software?
You mean the theme of the web board?
I checked out that board and I'll only go there if I want to practice trolling, and figuring out some new patterns of forum attacking boards for buffer overflow weaknesses (recovering form hacker addict).

Although I am a true Rennlister, lets not be too hard on lizard931. He has posted like all the rest and he is entitled to advertise other forums. He's still one of us. A 928 enthusiast.

actually Randy I appreciate the Rennlist board and I am not going to leave, infact in the new year I will be probably becoming a member, I am simply stating there is a new board out there that some people might care to look at, and I am simply stating my opinion that I am not fond of the format of rennlist,
but I am indead gratefull for it

Why is it that people on here freely advertise the SoCal board, and other boards, with no problems from the administrators, yet this one post gets attacked?
Just because someone suggests joining another board, is not a threat.
I look at several different message boards.
It doesn't make Rennlist any less strong.
In fact, the cross-posting spreads even *more* 928 info,
and probably brings a lot of people over here.
All the posts on the SoCal board, referencing Rennlist posts,
brought a lot of people over here. Same with any other board.
People will link to pictures they see over here,
info, etc... As long as Rennlist remains the biggest,
and the best, exposure will only *help*, not hurt...
No one is going to leave because the code is better somewhere else.
We are here for the sheer volume of posts, and members...
Lots and lots of info... Lots of great ideas...
That would come through, even if the code was terrible...
