Default Sunroof Motor Cover needed

Hi - The sunroof motor cover for my '91 S4 (Part # 928.555.301.60) has had the 2 front clips broken in the past which were repaired (badly) but they've finally given way. I don't think it is possible to repair this again so I was wondering whether anyone had a cover available with all clips in good condition?
My interior is Magenta, so I'll have to get the existing leather removed from the one I have and put on the new one as it's not an easy color to source. Any help would be great! Failing that if I can get one in black I guess it would do as the seats and carpet are black (certainly not ideal though)!

Call 928 International in Anaheim, California. They probably have just what you need.

Hi,

I had the same problem and solve it with double sided adhesive velcro, easier and cheaper than buy a used one, change leather, etc.
Hope this helps. You can give it a try and see if it works for you.

Regards

My clips are fine, but I'm missing that damn retaining spring thing at the back. I "solved" that with a large elastic hair tie but it keeps inching backwards until opening the hatch knocks it down. The velcro is a good idea, I will try that...

Velcro sounds like a good idea Ricardo. I'll give that a shot first I think.
