Default The last electrical gremlins on the 79. Tail Lamp Warning

I fixed the blower motor today which means that every electrical item works flawlessly EXCEPT the tail lamp warning on the cluster. It illuminates about 2 minutes after turning on the headlights. I replaced all bulbs with proper Osram units. Still get the tell tale. I cleaned all sockets but still no love. It's the last issue. Everything including the washer fluid level works perfectly.

Help.me beat the last issue! Any thing else to check?

Are the bulbs from the same batch? It is really that sensitive that difference in bulbs can set it off. Replace them with ones from the same package.

Or you can do what I do and ignore it.

Hi,

I had exactly the same problem on my 83S and after trying a lot of things my electrician trace it to a bad solder joint on the bulb control module!
Hope this helps!

Regards

I had this problem with my 80 for years and I just ignored it. Then one day I decided to change out every bulb, not just the tail lights and it solved it
