I'd at least be trying a compression test with a teaspoon of oil in each bore, just to check the cylinders all hold air, using the starter to turn it over (pull the fuel pump fuse and ignition relay first)
I'd also be checking fuses and relays are in the right place, and working, and seeing if the car fires at all (LH2.2 and EZF are pretty robust).
If you can compression test, and get it to fire even briefly, then dismantle the front and fit new pump, belt, while you send the MAF off for rebuild, and then drive it a little to verify the trans etc. before spending more.

Fuel lines - NOW. I can't really see them, but esp. the "U" shaped one at the firewall is where to look first as most vulnerable and closest to hot pipes below.
