Replacing Ring Gear Advice Needed
HELLO I AM GOING TO REPLACE MY RING GEAR AS SOON AS IT ARIVES FRIDAY . NEVER DONE A 928 BEFOR THIS IS A 1980 I READ A LITTLE IN MY IMPORT REPAIR MANUAL VAGUE AT BEST .OR POINT ME IN THE DIRECTION OF THE GUY WHO SELLS REPAIR MANUALES ON CD ANY ADVICE TO DO IT FAST APPRECIATED

I was looking at this the other day. Really close up. Should have had the car higher.
The way that thing is riveted to the intermediate plate it looks like something a machine shop will have to do. I don't suppose the rivets come with as a kit?
