over here there arent too many yellow cars on the road and even fewer in orange. it was while the car was in the shop and i had severe withdrawl symptoms that i made my second 928 purchase - in sensible black, also my girlfriends favourite car colour. this left me completely free and unfettled by the constraints of practicality in choosing a new colour!

The first 928 I ever drove was pumpkin colored. It sure didn't work for me.

Smile Tahoe Blue is one sweet color

Oh my... that is certainly a very beautiful 928. I love that color.

Makes mine look rather plain...

Thumbs up

Always a great sight.
To see a large school of sHARKs in a parking lot.
Even more so to see them converging from all points of the compass.
Try for Hereford next time tight roads, castle ruins, 'the' Cathedral and Museum -Corpus Mundi- great pubs, dance clubs. And the 22 SAS is just outside of town.
Great showing drnick

drnick,
I love when a bunch of sharks get together! You made me jealous, I just had to fire up my 'left-hander' and take it round the block (first time since Christmas)

Btw, where's the sweet orange ride? ...Modest?

Thanks for posting the photos of this very fine U.K. meet. Impressive "frenzy" of 60+ cars/owners. I really enjoyed seeing
the photo of a real SE...don't think I've ever seen one in the states.
Can't til SITM in May!
Best,
Tim

Looks like the Holdsworth car! If so, I've traveled several times in it. Very odd for a Yank to be looking out the left side of a 928 with no steering wheel.

Thanks for the pics.

Regards,
JE

John, yes, that's an interesting feeling, I can only imagine. Strapped in the P side w/ no wheel, just feel. I gotta get myself on boat and try that out. ...and sample the 'Ring. At this point, in my imagination. But someday, definitely.

The Tahoe Blue 928 at the UK meet belongs to Owen Gupp - I know I test drove it for him and gave it the once over before he bought it. I'm ashamed to say that it had to have a new radiator about a month after he bought it, but I'm sure I'ld have spotted it if it was leaking at the time. I was certainly impressed as it was the first S4 Auto I'ld driven in anger after three years of the SE. It even changed down to 1st when floored from standing.

I like the Eifert picture of me driving the SE we're doing all of about 25mph - impressive huh - I forget where that was, outskirts of sinnsheim ?

Nick

I love the colour & mods, just needs the 928 Specialists wing! IMO.
Maybe there's more than 2 Tahoe Blues

Which one are you going to bring to the meets now ! or maybe you need an extra driver, I'm sure I could get up to Great Yarmouth !

Tuk

Unless somebody spends $$$$$$ federalizing a SE (RHD) or CS (LHD) you wont see one your side of the pond as they were never sold in the USA.

JE

Yes it is Jon's

Jim

A boat ? I think a 747 might be a bit quicker ! BTW Project Gothem Racing II for the X Box has the Nurburgring as a 'prize' track which is very realistic I'm told by 'Ringers' (a group who regularly drive the ring when its open & who practice/learn all 72 bends during the winter ).
