This thread helped me locate the drain plugs so, for the benefit of those who will come after me, I'm uploading pictures of the drain plugs (left, then right).

Freeze plugs??!! Argghhh......
Okay, I just changed my page to "drain" plugs, and added Garth's good suggestion to use teflon tape on reinstallation.
Also, at the end I added to check belt tension every 15,000 miles. My own belt has needed tightening (just a little) every 15k.
Best of luck with the tb job. Not hard, just a lot to do!

On my car the problem was that on one side the air pump lines prevented me from using a socket wrench, and I couldn't get enough leverage using a ring spanner. When I did eventually remove it there seemed to be plenty of CopperEase on the thread, hate to think what would have happened if there had been none.
