Sad. It's great if what you're looking for is a HUGE repair bill.

Parts car at best. It's at a wrecking yard/used car dealership is used to pass going to and from work. Never saw it out front, so it must have been in "The Yard".

I wouldn't be surprised if it were bought by a 928 dismantler. If the person is actually going to get it going then like Joe said " HUGE".

Hmmm. Part Werks is the only dismantler in the area that I know of, and I'm not even certain they are a dimantler.

The worst part is the rust in the unibody. One of the nice things about the 928 is that you dont see much of that, even on cars which have been neglected in salty environments. I wonder what happend here. I suspect they took off the the inner fender shields ,drove it around on salted roads, and the rust is now coming through from the inside.

I was surprised there was so much rust also. My car sat for 8 years (I have the huge repair bill to prove it) but there wasn't any body rust except for a little corrosion on the end of the front hood. Mine was also parked close to San Francisco so at least it didn't have the harsh Chicago weather to deal with.
It still boggles the mind how people can just "throw away" these cars.

RUSTY!

And that interior is pretty nasty too.

I doubt the engine seals are any good either.

It does not leave many good parts to sell.
Can't sell the nasty interior parts.
Can't sell the rusty body parts.

That doesn't leave much else.
