I would be really interested if you could scan codes and alter variables such as idle speed,ignition timming,fuel delivery,speedo error ect.A lot to ask but thats my wish list :

IMHO, one area that could be improved, John, is that the device could have a little more of a UK-ish personality. You know, maybe a few Britishisms to reveal the device's origin.

Some suggestions:

"Her Majesty's Royal Tester, V1.3"
"No bloody connection."
"Working (good time for a pint, mate)..."
"LH/EZK prang!"
"Blimey! Wonky input!"
"PSD a bit dodgy."
"Results are jolly good."
"Rotate ignition key anti-clockwise."
"Petrol low."
"Engaging hooters..."
"Test complete. Cheerio!"
"Nowt seen. Check connection."
"Tardis, type 40."
"Spam egg spam spam bacon and spam."
"42."

Tomboyea - I am developing an EPROM emulator for the 928 which will do most of what you mention...will be announced soon.
