Default Okay, crucify me, or good riddance...?

A friend o mine been developing the Lancia in the pics below. I know it doesn't look like much, but there's a lot under the skin of this car - 18" OZ knock-ons, upgraded brake lines, callipers & rotors - latest technology as in European touring cars, 300hp turbo motor, 950kg's, wide body, etc, etc...

He wants to swap me for my 928 race / track car (under development) and I'm seriosly thinking about it, considering track time and fun versus the money waiting for me next year...

What do you think - Should I do it? (now's the time to get rid of me fellas)

Or should i stick with my shark? Please help me in my moment of weakness...

You've come to the right place for the intervention you obviously need.

Let's do some visualization:

Picture yourself in a 928. Picture yourself racing it. Smooth. Distinctive. Confident. You are beautiful.

Now picture yourself in that Lancia. Picture yourself racing it. Rough. Commonplace. Awkward. You are ugly.

Hope that helps.

Hmmmm. If your avatar is your car, then I would demand a paint jobat elast before even considering the trade. YIKES!

Interesting car, but I don't know what I would trade.

does the Lancia come with all parts to put it together and also are there engine pics.If it was me i would trade if your talking about your 83 (track *****)overall power wise the Lancia for sure especially since its already turbo. Just upgrade the turbo and bigger intercooler and not to mention if theres a weight difference.Or maybe its just because i like cars that you dont see in the U.S.

How much in the way of modifications have your done to your 83?

Sounds like it's time to put together your own supercharger kit to me...

On second thought, it's deffently time for a blower, a new cam, and maybe a stroker. When you get done you'll beable to point at a 5.7l supercharged engine capible of up to mabye 480 hp. If you change out the pistions like John has, you could even go higher.

Enjoy.

Keep the shark and build it into a monster track car!!!
Thats my vote.
That Lancia is neat but a toy compared to a built 928. And it looks very rough imho.
If youre in need of a quick track fix, race the TL!

I was thinking of getting a Montecarlo about twelve years ago when you could pick up a cheap example for about $3000, however most in the UK were rusted beyond all recognition. What a shame, and what a relief it is now that I can own a car that's nearly twenty years old and not have to worry about corrosion.

Pierre,
We went down this road before as I recall.
You are the man when it comes to the swap decision.
Personally, and I might be biased, I'd keep the sHARk.
BTW
I haven't seen a flick of the Bastard since you went track,
Twas a beautiful 928. Give me a peek.
