I think I need to visit this on the Coke car. I have a feeling that excessive oil (vapor/mist) is being returned to the TB and being burned in the cylinders. This winter I think I will need to pull the intake and install a baffle (not sure if there is one or not) and then re-route the plumbing to include an AOS. I've great luck with the Mann AOS (200) on both SC'd cars. I've found the key is to knock down as much oil as possible via the baffle, and then have a large enough "vent pipe" to the AOS. 3/4" minimum. Anything smaller will suffer "arterial sclerosis" and choke off the flow. I;ve always returned the oil back to the sump via the pan or the dipstick, bt it's important to have a check valve otherwise pressure will push oil back up through.

Here's how I do it on my GT. On the 85 Euro, IIRC there is no tie-in with the heads and it seems to work fine.
