Default Wheel Help in AZ

Anyone in Phoenix area have 1 or 2 spare (drive-able) 17" 928 bolt pattern wheel(s) I can borrow for a few weeks? Mainly just for the car to sit on.

GTS rear tire has a nasty Gash - total air loss - not repairable. 3-5 days for another PS2 27540R17 from Discount Tire (getting so hard to find) and I'm going on vacation in 5 days for 2 weeks... Not good

Anyone?

Spare is really quite horrible just can't drive on it - dry rot? See pictures - surprised it hasn't torn itself apart...

Can't you just put the car on jack stands until you get new wheels and tyres sorted?

Randy it's sitting on 1 jack stand at the moment - but it's in the parking lot at work...

I don't want to leave it there for 2.5 weeks while I'm away.

All - Check inflating your spare - it may be this bad or worse... this is actually a "relatively" new one - its only 24 years old.

I can borrow a set of 16" man-holes from Dan at Exotic Motorwerks - but that's a 70 mile round trip to the other end of Phoenix.

I've got some spare 16" wheels/tires that you can borrow, if that helps? Not sure if those fit your car. Located in Chandler.

FYI TireRack can deliver a PS2 tire to Phoenix by tomorrow. You can get it installed anywhere.

I can't do PM's apparently; because I'm a new member? Or maybe because I didn't pay yet.

My car is sitting on jackstands, so if you want to use my Man-Hole covers, shoot me an email billpfisher @ gmail.c om

You need 5 posts to activate PMs. Try it now.

16" manhole rims won't fit over Randy's GTS front brakes, IIRC. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Thanks all. Dr Bob Its Alan's GTS Rears not Randy's GTS front so fit should be OK. I do have a set of 16" manhole covers with old but serviceable rubber from Dan. Thanks Mike & Bill for the offers.

Looks like discount tire can now get PS2's 275/40R17's shipped in to my store by Friday - still need to get my car home - but I can get it fixed before I leave on vacation.

If it was me I'd call a flatbed and air the tires up just long enough to roll it on/off.

It was a real blow out - no airing this one up - its a split ~1" long Good job it happened with the car sitting in the lot not driving. You can see the deformity its as if the sidewall delaminated.
