OK, here you go. Let me just say, try to ignore the fact that my paint is in really bad shape, and the little grill thingy is messed up. Also bear in mind that I spun my car into a ditch last winter, so the actual factory valance under the spoiler is kind of bent, making the spoiler look kind of twisted:

A little bit more subtle than the Le Mans spoiler, kind of reminiscent of the chin spoiler on a 928 or what you could get for an old Z car.

Oh yeah, I also don't have the Euro bumpers on right now. I still haven't gotten around to having them painted yet.

Nice! I like it, so these are very hard to come by? Where did you get this one?
Thanks!

I bought this one from an auction on ebay a few years ago. It actually was painted white at some point and also has a small chunk missing on the right side. I have another one that I just bought off of another auction that is NOS, never been installed, but that one is going to sit on a shelf for a while until I get the bumpers sorted and a new valance.

You see them come up on ebay now and then, but not too often. I don't think they were made to far into the 80's. You need to do a search on ebay for porsche 924 spoiler. Don't search for Foha and count on finding anything, because sometimes folks spell it Foho.

have you checked Performance products.? they have a spoiler that is similar, which I'd love to get as soon as I have the cake to do so.

I dont know which i like better, i think the Le Mans gives a more agressive look, but yours is more subtle...

Let me just add that if I had spun into the ditch with the Le Mans front end, it would have been destroyed. The Foha just pushed out of the way and sprang back after I got pulled out.

Now the steel valance is another story...

This is the spoiler that Performance Products sells. Looks pretty good!

Erich, I just thought of something else. Is that spoiler going to clear the lollipop side marker lights? Comparing the picture in the v-zweeden.com link to a North American market 924S, it looks like the Le Mans spoiler is going to overlap the side marker lights by about 1/2 an inch or more.

Good eye my friend! I noticed that too, i have two options once i see how much overlap there actually is.

1st: Lots of overlap means i will shave those side lights off and then add clear corners to the front
2nd: Little overlap, then i'll just cut out a little circle portion of the spoiler for the light to fit...

As you can tell i'd prefer to have lots of overlap or complete coverage!
Thanks!

Shave. Then add the little repeaters behind the wheel arch like on Euro spec cars. That will look sharp. Those big lollipops look silly anyway. They are the only thing I hate about my car.

The best way to shave, since those lights are "frenched" in is to have a good body man weld in sheet steel where the lights were, smooth it off and paint.

Thats exactly what i was thinking to do! Didn't you mention a while ago you were doing that to your car? Maybe i'm thinking about somebody else. I know someone on here was looking to do that to their 924S...hmmm

I think that would look really nice, but then I would also then feel obliged to do the rears too...

Yeah, that's me. I haven't done it yet, and I will do the rears as well. I will likely start projects like that this spring, depending on how business is and if I can get another daily driver.
