Cool 1987 924S parts, websites

Hello All

Just found this board and have processed some good info thus far.

I am restoring an 87 924S and am looking for suggestions for websites and / or catalogs for parts. I am particularly interested in the original phone dial wheels and I need an original steering wheel, seats, etc...

Anyone have any good places to begin looking?

Thanks for any help!

Try www.924.org , they have a pretty active discussion board and somewhere on the board is a thread with nothing but links for stuff. I even found and downloaded the complete Haynes manual for the 924 series!

http://www.944racing.com

We are in the process of building 2 924S Race cars and may have some of the parts you are looking for.

Try http://208.233.99.171/trollhattan/

They have the best prices I have seen so far.

You will be better off at 944Racing. Both my cars are 944Racing supplied! 924.org is not real big on 924S models most talk is over early models. Your car is both late and early and you will need parts from both and Jeff and Andrew can get what you need or want. Dal

Parts Heaven (http://www.partsheaven.com) has anything you need if you can't find it anywhere else. They are in Hayward, California.

Surferguy,
I'm in the same boat. In fact I've just about got the front suspension removed on my black/black '87 924S. I actually have parts that I was going to sell since I'm trying to upgrade to a host of aftermarket items. Stock suspension parts, steering wheel, seats, etc. I'm in SoCal so let me know if you're interested. Also there's a german salvage place near me where I scrounge for goodies once in a while.
