We have a 1987 924s that we run in the various endurance series here in the southeast Champcar/WRL/AER. The 924s racecar was such a fun little car to drive that I ended up looking for, and eventually picking up a 1988 924se "special edition" as well, which is a track sorted street legal car. Still in really good shape.
Big fan of these cars. I also run a road race setup stockcar in SCCA's GTA class...different animals, but have just as much fun the 924s.

If you're in a hurry, you can buy them at Advance Auto [Febi - CV Joint Bolt (Part No. K6050439247FEB)] for a $1.28 each or order them from any of the usual suspects.
Here is my 924s LeMans Edition 1988, beautiful car with some modifications. 2.5 16 valve engine, spax suspension, black leather origainal sport seats, 16" Teledials for track use and 16" BBS Rs for street use
Here’s my ‘82 924 Turbo. Bone stock and all maintenance is done, only thing left to do is drive it! Will post the ‘88 924S next, also a beauty with only 20k miles on the clock.
I just picked up an '87... last owner had an interesting way of fixing things (sunroof doesn't work? pull the cable out... New paint? Don't tape anything off) Oh well - it is an underappreciated car!
Lot's of wear and tear to keep me busy this winter
I bought a silver one about 3 years ago, then figured I wasn't going to fix it so sold it. Don't know why?
A couple days ago a local one came up for sale and bought it !
