I replaced the brushs/regulator piece on my alternator (brushes were shot). Now it shows charging on the voltmeter (13.8V or so) UNTIL i hit about 3400 rpm. Then the voltage drops to just above 12 and goes lower the more i rev!!
Anybody know what to look for???? Help!

That is odd... have you replaced the grounds? Most notably, the ground strap from the alternator to the engine block?

If you overtighten the nuts on the backplate, you can cause the rods to twist, and break the solder connections, on the coil packs. If all you did was change bushes, and now you have problems, I'd say this is whats hapened.
