Parts ID and what's missing here?
While fixing battery compartment rust issues, I noticed some places in the engine bay that seem to be missing something. I'm wondering if someone would enlighten me as to what's missing or what these things are used for. Thanks!
1. The blue arrows in both pics point to electrical connections. What are they for?
2. Light switch for under hood light?? There is no wire attached to the switch terminal.
3. Looks like where a zip tie would be used to bundle wires...but no wires there.
4. No idea what the bolt is for.
5. The two holes in the VIN plate look like something a PO did. And there's a hole in the rubber covering next to the number 5...another place for a cable holder like #3 should be here?

Ah...that makes sense. I removed a security system (non-functional) and all associated wiring that was left over several months ago. What does the test connector on the driver's side (second pic) test?
I see the under hood light, next to the driver's side windshield washer jet, and I tested the bulb and it works. But it doesn't light up when the hood is raised. Is there a switch that activates it when the hood is raised? Haven't seen one.
Thanks!

The underhood light only works when the hood is up (mercury switch) and the headlights or parking lights are on at the headlight switch.
