Lance,

Did you buy A.A.'s car? If so, then it's nice to see that car find an owner who will appreciate it. Very nice car.

Cheers

Thanks Gilbert, it's the black on black 89, is that the one you are thinking of?

Yeah, Adrian's right? Are you really going to put the c2 turbo rims on this car? If you do, will you use a replica like an RH wheel (nice) or will you hold out for the speedlines (even nicer!)?

You know, despite your test driving the 911's and the 968's, I sorta knew you would end up with another 951 (didn't know it was going to be another black one!).

Lance, congratulations on replacing your 951 with what appears to be a very nice '89.

yeah, that sounds about right, i'd expect to pay about 17, 18k for that car. If it's exceptionally pristine, maybe closer to 20.
Are you guys talking CDN$? Because I would think a great '89 should top out at around US$15K to US$16K. I mean the 220HP cars seldom reach US$10K, plus around US$5k more for the 250HP version, no?

Otherwise, I'm curious what your market would pay for a factory '91 951 cabrio.

thanks guys, Gilbert I don't think It was an Adrian that owned this car.
Luis, the concensus on the board is 17-18 USD with some really low mile examples around 20.
The other factor is that there are not many around here, especially in nice condition.
Last year I know of two that sold for around 26-27 K Cdn at todays rate that puts them in the 20's USD.
thanks
Lance

OK, so what would a bone stock '91 factory 951 cabriolet with 104K kilometers be worth in Vancouver?
