Default Leaking Radiator

There was a puddle of Antifreeze on the floor of my 87 951 this morning. I put the pressure tester on it and it looks like the leak is along the seam where the plastic side tank attaches to the aluminum core. Can this be fixed or do I need a new radiator. If I need a new one what are my options. My car is 100% stock 944T and I want it to stay that way...what I mean is I want a replacement that doesn't require modifications and looks OEM. Also, is there anything else I should do while I'm at it??
Thanks
Michael

It's good to replace the rubber mounts when fitting a new unit.

Worth asking a radiator shop for a quote to pull the tanks and replace the rubber seals.

Went through leaky radiator issues with my 951 a couple of years back. Local radiator shop owner couldn't find the tank/core seals in any of his books. Concluded that these were not meant to be fixed, just replaced. After trying 3, yes 3, used units I just bit the bullet and bought a new one. In the neighborhood of $400 IIRC.

They are actually down to 270 since Modine owns L&R.

Is that an actual OEM radiator? A lot of the Modine stuff is out of China.

270 is for the langerer and reich for the early models not the later 3.0s or turbo.

Not sure on where they are made but mine came with a Modine sticker a couple years ago.

I pick up a NOS L&R from a member local to me. However I'm sliding down the while-you-are-in-there slippery slope and will be replacing all the rubber hoses, Jboot etc and installing the Ice Shark battery cables. I don't expect to be back on the road until September since I spend much of the Phoenix summer somewhere else.
