Default 16v folks - measurement request (XPOST)

Anybody with a 16v car...

I would like to know how high the intake manifold or fuel rail (or whatever the highest point on the engine is) sticks up, as measured with a tape measure between where the manifold bolts onto the cylinder head (bottom of intake flange), at the front of cylinder/runner #1.

To clarify, stick the end of a tape measure between the intake manifold and the upper radiator hose elbow and measure the vertical height of the intake manifold/fuel rail.

My measurement on an engine on a stand shows about 4.5" but I would like a more accurate "in-situ" measurement if possible.
