Okay, guys and gals, I'm offering to put together a screensaver OF ALL OUR CARS!

EDIT EDIT - due to input, I can't limit the pics to just the watercoolers; too many wonderful cars on Rennlist!

One pic per person's car, but pics from events would be great, too.

I'll have to figure out how to get all the images, like maybe John D. would allow us to save them on the server, and let me download them.

Edit As for price, not sure what to charge...I'd like to charge like $10 each CD, and donate profits to Rennlist and Adrian's Charity.

On my computer, it just accesses a file, and randomly selects a pic for the background upon startup, then cycles through for the screen saver.

Anyone who knows if a PC needs a screensaver engine, let me know.

Any help on this would be appreciated, and I'd like John D.s approval to go forward.

Thanks for suggesting this be a seperate thread from the Calendar; this is something I can do, and be cost effective, and if not much doctoring is needed, we can have them for Xmas.

First, I need to know the specs for the pics; I will need to pic an average size that will be useable on most monitors. So, what size and what dpi do I need? 72 dpi I think is what your screen shows, if I'm not mistaken.

I may have to resize pics, but that doesn't take long in Photoshop.

Basically need a template, and add from there.

I think I will ask for two pics per car, not per person, since many Rennlister's have more than one car. Not sure if I should keep it to just Rennlist Members, that's where I need John D.s input, too.

You have some nice pics there, btw, Eyal! Love your 951; now, if you could only convince my boyfriend to fall in love with these cars, and help me get him over to the dark side... His 25th birthday is in February, and he can drive a stick, just a little apprehensive about it. We've been together since he was 19 1/2, and inseperable since then (except for this business trip for his company, he works in producing video games, and went to work directly with the developers).

Thanks, Mike! I don't think there'd be any problems with doing it, and it would compliment the calendar nicely - after all, only 12 can be on that, plus a cover - BUT all of us can be in a screensaver!

well people, start submitting your pictures for it then, my two submitals are the two pics in my sig, the front photo, and the rear photo. Theres two pics for the csreen asave already! (click on the corner thing to make em really big)
