the part on the hood, or the part on the radiator frame?
the one on the hood just unscrews.
the one on the radiator frame has 4 rivets holding it in place that need to be drilled out.
you loosen the little screw underneath the "latch" which holds the throttle cable in place and remove the 10mm nut that holds the cable to the body, pull the cable out. you should be able to wiggle the drilled-out latch from under the metal "housing"...

Also, if your current latch is in the right position, use something like painter's tape or a dry erase marker to mark the position before you remove it so that you can skip a lot of the hassle of aligning the new part.
