dude, get a picture of your car with the new rims exactly like the first one, and I think we might just have another 951 for the calender. The third picture is possible too.

I agree completely. Get a photo with the new rims, but as nice as that
first photo and I'm sure it would get voted in!

While I can't afford to become a Rennlist member anytime soon, I can tell
you that I'd prefer a vote on the quality of the photo, not the car itself.
If it does happen to be a special car, then a full sized photo with two
small windows in one of the lower corners depicting something special
about the car like a picture in picture of the engine or a closeup of the
big reds or whatever.

I've done a few calenders in the past for a 3d rendering club I was with.
There are some great calender templates in MS Word but we found that
just assembling them using whatever the printshop prefers is easiest.
IE if they want Photoshop PSD files of each page, including a PSD of
the days of the week, then that's what we give them.

Just my .02

Oh, I just thought of something. Unless you happen to have some KILLER
photos of your car, I suggest you take the time to take new ones. Also,
unless you have cool custom plates that say Porsche or Turbo or something
you should probably take them off for the photo. It looks terribly tacky
to have to white out the plates, though I supposed whomever puts the
photos together for the print shop can just "Rennlist" the plates if
need be.

Suggestions for taking photos:

1: The car AND the background should be the focus of the picture.
Not just the car, and especially NOT a PART of the car.
(Unless it's for the inserts of a very special car)

2: The background should not be distracting. Photos of a car in your
driveway are pretty lame honestly. GET OUT! Take a photo somewhere
nice!

3: IMHO No people in or around the car. The photos should be the car
itself. Unless of course your woman looks like Angelina Jolie or Pam
Anderson that is...

4: Lighting is very important. Try to get everything lit evenly. Watch out
for shadows and reflections. Unless that's your goal to have the details
of your car half hidden in shadow or a reflection of you holding the camera
in your finely polished paint!!

Nicks first photo above is a perfect example of what you would want for
a calender. The second two are damn close, but the lighting isn't right,
and there is crap in the background of the first photo, and forground of
the second photo. Though both photos are still killer in their own right!!

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by suggesting all this stuff, I've
just had some experience in this....hence the "Jack of all Trades"
