We bought those metal plates that bolt through the shock bolt in the rear and use ratchet straps that clip onto that in the rear. In the front we use straps that go through the wheel. It works.

The real tricky part is trying to work out a ramp setup that gets you onto the trailer without scraping the front valence.

Drive the rear wheels of the tow vehicle onto some homemade ramps. Mine are 3, 2x6s about 4' long (bottom measure) and 2' long (top).

I have 12' rams on my Montrose enclosed and I don't scrape any part. I tie down holding all 4 wheels (can send pics if anyone is interested).

4ft ramps + Race Ramps - no problems on a very low 944 race car.

I use generic ratcheting tie-down straps with axle straps looped through the wheels. The tie-downs clip onto lugs on the trailer bed and are crossed left-to-right for stability. You can see this in an old photo of mine.

This is how most everyone ties their cars down, altho there are lots of fancy alternatives if you prefer. I highly recommend having a knowledgeable buddy show you how it's done, for example details of how to thread the loose end of the tie-down through the ratchet for extra security. My friend Dave Maynard taught me as well as delighting me with a few horror stories of trailering gone wrong! Good luck and happy trailering.

wrap-around-the-tire strap/net things are by far the best for minimal damage and very secure mounting.

otherwise, on the front of your car there are tie-down hooks near the sway bar brackets and you can add some hooks to the rear shock bolts.

Front tie down points and through the rear wheels. You can also use the trailer jack to raise the front of the trailer (and back of the truck ) to keep from scraping the front valance on the ramps.

There are factory brackets rear mounted tie-down out there somewhere...I'm trying to source a few for my cars. May even have some made. They bolt to the frame in the rear instead of the shock mounts. The second is of one of the rear mounted brackets.

As mentioned, there are front mounts as well. They are usually still on the car. The first image is of one of the front brackets.

Yeah those rear tie downs are rare. My dude that works on my car worked for the Porsche dealer back in the 80's. He said they used to take them off and throw them away. A car is only truly original if it still has them on.

Rennlist user "racerbvd" will sell you a sweet red-powercoated pair of tiedown eyes that go on the rear shock bolt for ~$30 shipped.
I got a pair just haven't put them on yet...
