Default DIY Interior Refresh

Hey guys, among other larger projects recently I decided to spruce up my interior a bit. Just thought I'd post some pics in case anyone needs inspiration to get out and do some projects. I had no carpet left on top of the center console around the shifter, and my side carpets were green (like everything else). The carpet on the driver side left foot well wall was also destroyed and the hood release nowhere to be found. I went to Jo-Ann fabric and found some perfect color fake quilted leather and some foam sheet stuff. I hot glued the foam between the leather and some backing I made out of cheap big Tupperware containers. I used the same material for the carpet but used some sound dampening material as the backing. My sunroof lifter arm covers were crumbling so I made some out of home Depot aluminum. I also got some Lloyd custom floor mats. I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out. Now I just need to reupholster the seats (ugh) and she'll be good as new. Unfortunately that will have to wait until fall as autocross/track season is upon us and I kind of need a seat for that.

Nice work, that console looks much better. I like the quilted leather look.
