Actually, all but the hood scoop thingy (ugly) and the rear end (nice) is parts from a kit that was made of Strosek, or some copycat company. But the original kit was from strosek.

I too can appreciate the restoration.. but the taste is missing. I like the 968 back.. the hood is horrendous, and the hatch is bland.. and I'm sure the drivers rear-vision in all but gone.

The best thing about that avatar is that it belongs to the site's admin. I'm going to look further at that site, as I suspect even more interesting avatars based on the fact that the admin has that one.
Love some stuff on the car, hate some.
I personally am working on some sort-of hatch change. I want to get rid of the "bubble" effect the glass gives. I was thinking something along the lines of what that car has, but with a larger window. Also, I'd like to eliminate the look of a hatch being there altogether. Picture that car without the side area on the hatch attachment (where it says "NOS"). More of a 914 look in the back where the hatch used to be.

Site admin's avatar ROCKS! I'd be booted if I stole it.. but I REALLY want to..
must.. not.. stare...
Man that's a lot of work- gotta give him credit for time spent - like it or not.
The 968 rear is purrty slick.

I like the idea of the hatch, however I'd like to do something more modified (but not on my daily driver, i like it the way it is) like Jeff is talking about. Maybe on a track car or something. haha

Ah yes, the classic rear hatch delete option. Been duscussed several times. Thaddeus was doing such a project, what ever happened to that? I remember several posts of photoshopped images of a 944 w/o the rear glass and a trunk in its place. Had an MR2 type look to it. Didn't look that bad actually, but it kind of lost its "Porsche look".
