Default Pictures of stock 944 engine mount next to 9Products

I noticed that on the stock mount, the threads for the chassis bolts are sunk into the rubber type susbstance. The top section of the stock mount is shaped like the top to the wastegate. It's wide around the middle then tapers down to become pretty narrow . In a turbo engine bay it's no wonder why these wear out. Yes the 9P ones are stiffer but the shock absorbing material is encased in plated aluminum. And they look 10 times cooler

The stock mounts have an aluminum top piece encased in rubber that the threads are tapped into.
The narrow design is surely to allow some flexibility about that point, the wide flange at the top is merely to match up to the engine brackets...

Could you please keep posts like this in your original mount thread?

What's up with the double nut? Just insurance against loosening with vibration?

Can't wait to get mine in a few days.

Roger that. These are going into my 951 so it'll be a while before they actually see use, I'm still waiting on the machine shop to finish the head and I still need to repaint the engine bay before I drop the new 2.5 in.

Hi. Any updates on the 9product semi solid motor mounts? Are they a good option for street cars?

If you like vibration than it's good.
