My best (2nd lap 2nd run) was 47.00, not very good. I think I was about to beat it on my final lap, but I pushed it too hard and slipped up on the entrance to the mini-slalom.
I got to ride in the maroon 911 w/ the 964 engine (I forget the owner's name). On his third lap, he did the same thing on the slalom, so you could say I follow instruction too well.

John Dowling is the guys name.
Was the mini slalom the last one just before the start finish?
Yep that was tight and too much speed and it hurts. There you need to go slow to go fast.
47.00 was not to bad for a 951. Even in my 83 I had a hard time in second gear in spots. Mostly out of the last corner before the lights.
My best was a 45.90 in my second run on my 2nd lap. I got a nice rotation into the first corner (left hander) and maintained alot of speed and kept it in the right hander and through the chicane. Where you braking for the chicane? I found early that I did not need to. Just a quick flip of wheel got me through even a full throttle.

Yeah, that's the part. The wors part was with the exit of the slalom on the left like that, it was very difficult to get back over to the right to take the 90 degree left properly.
I had to downshift on that corner to have any power.

Not a bad course overall however. Just that last slalom and corner. Otherwise lots of fun.
Bob said he had to put that in to keep things safe down in that corner and I agee it was the right thing to do.

I just started running DEs with Nasa (nasa-az.org). And I autocross with the PCA (az.pca.org).
I've only run on the AMP track, but nasa sometimes runs at firebird and PIR.
You should talk to Joe (M758) about spec racing your car, if you want to track it (see his sig for a link to the spec-944 site). It's a fairly inexpensive 944 racing class, with a pretty good amount of local competition.
