You should drive both and buy the one you like more. 924t is a great car but needs to be in top shape since most I've seen either need lots of work or were redone on budget and have ugly paintjobs, funky home depot interiors etc. Pristine condition, I'd probably take 924t over 968. On the other hand, 968 is a solid performer and looks good. In both cases condition of the car would be the deciding factor for me.

If 924 is anywhere near this one, I'd be all over it.

Since 924 turbo is rare, it will also appriciate more than 968 in next 10 years imo.

So I was going to choose the 968 but ended up getting the turbo. It is such a fun car! It needs some work but that will keep me entertained. Thank you all for the replies.

haha, very good choice, I did not expect this. It must be the year of the 924 then
If you're looking for a proper old school sports car driving experience you wont be disappointed...if the car runs as it should ofcourse which it probably does not

Join 924board.org(free knowledge and the best global board) and porsche924.co.uk(paid membership in a great club with great benefits).
You can get your 931 running properly if you do some reading on the sites above first.
On those websites you can find links to shops and people who sell every 924 part you'll need.

If you're from US, you have the chance to upgrade your 931 to ROW spec which is the proper 931 and unleash the hidden potential of the US delivered and detuned 924s.

Thanks. The car runs and performs flawlessly. The kind of work that is needed is fixing the "looks" of the car. She needs to get some dents fixed and scratches polished. Some panels do need to be repainted. The interiors need some work too.

Wow, fantastic looking 924.
Enjoy it but take care of it, just a few of these still exist.

Thanks! These pictures don't have much quality, making the dents and scratches unnoticeable, however the paint does need a good polish.

Now that you have an awesome oldschool sports car you should get at least a better phone to take better pictures of it.
Where are you located?

So what are your plans for this car? I've seen a boost gauge picture...so you just want the gauge in or you plan on altering the car?

My plans are installing the gauge and keeping the prototipo steering wheel. Other than that, Im keeping everything original.

Dude!!
That's a euro S2, I'm totally jealous..
You get the S2 engine updates and get to keep the G31 unlike us US cars..
and my favorite wheels, looking at that rear wheel it looks like it might even be the 928 wider ones, if the edge of the rim on the rear sticks out a bit more than the front then they are 928, upgrade for wider tires, probably 215-235 area in the rear..
Your interior looks to be about the same as mine except the pasha centers, very nice option..
Looks like you have a new rear brake caliper there..

Very very nice 931, congratulations..

Your hood to nose panel gap looks a bit wide from these pics, you can also see it where the hood doesn't match the fender curve by the windshield, like someone had the hood off and didn't adjust it properly when they put it back on..
You should be able to loosen the bolts on the hinges and scoot it forward a bit..

Check that battery box for rust so you don't get a leak into your interior, and it's a good idea to clean the sunroof drains out with weed whip line so you don't get a leak there either..
