HTML Code:
are you saying they have a limited supply of the material and aren't making any more? Would you care to share the cost of the script cloth for your two seats?
Also how was the ordering process? Do I need to speak german? haha.
The way I approached it was I went to the werk924.com website, which is all in German, and found a link that started a generic contact email. From this I received a reply, in English, from Andrea, who walked me through the transaction from there. She was quite knowledgeable and helpful. The price for the black cloth is listed on their website, in euros. By the time I was done I paid around $250, with shipping, for enough to do 2 seats.

At some point, I believe she inferred that this cloth was no longer being made but with the language difference, I may not have understood exactly. I contacted Rob Budd at Classic9Interiors and he indicated that $250 was a decent price.

I decided last night to replace all the vinyl on the drivers seat, so more learning curve to climb for that effort

If you've never done upholstery before, I'll put in a plug for the Cechaflo videos on youtube as a good place to gain some understanding of the basics.

Thanks for the info Harveyf. I will definitely check out Chechalfo's channel on youtube. $250 is expensive, but doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities. If I wanted to do a similar project but with the bolsters covered as well, I'd prob be looking around a little north of $300

I want to try and see if I can replicate the fabric on one of those custom fabric sites. If the fabric is indeed not manufactured anymore, then it will only get more expensive and less available.

Maybe a group buy could be in order if we can get it done well enough. I just really like the script fabric. Would be cool to re-cover some luggage, make a new hatch cover, or heck make a suit out of it!

Those seats look amazing. And now I want to have mine redone with fresh fabric as well. Add it to the list... haha.
