Wiper mechanism fallen apart
Hi Guys
Spent a while stripping, cleaning and greasing the whole wiper/motor mechanism - worked great until today in heavy rain the "connecting rod long/477 955 036 B" detached from the drivers side wiper/crank (it's a RHD car). When I was greasing it I noticed the plastic cups at the ends of the arms were a bit loose but it seems with grease they are too worn to transfer drive from one side of the mechanism to the other - I have had a look in the manual but can't see the plastic parts separately, anyone know if they are available without buying the whole arm?

Update - looks as if whole long arm with plastic inserts/ballcups are available in the UK - ebay seller says genuine but at £14.50 I am not sure but worth taking a punt.

mmm scrap my previous post, these arms are for the post 85 cars. Can't even remove ends to fit to the old arm as they are different diameters and overmoulded onto the metal by the look of it anyway. Ended up doing a temporary fix by applying heat to the plastic bush and melting it back to a tight fit. Will have to do until I can get another part...

Are the rhd and lhd different? or just flipped over? I have a complete unit here. If shipping from the US is not to prohibitive, make me an offer.
