Going to need an '89 951 owner's manual. If any of you could sell me one, or post out a website to DL it from, or even a site to buy one, would be really helpful. Thanks.

why doesn't someone put one in .pdf and quietly slide it under the rug? i've been looking for one for an old 57 Borgward/Goliath flatbed truck (very German, major post-war, and rare) and some jerk-off is making photocopies of one and selling them for $80.00..! (had to vent that one, sorry, ****in' hell, damn..)

You can buy owners manuals from the dealer. Typical cost is $25.

Give me a few minutes and let me see what I can dig up... I might have a link for you...
Okay, I'll leave it up to all of your own devices to find anything useful.
But don't be detered by my "Go away" statement; I'm just naive regarding webspace and stuck that in to protect my wife and myself a bit.
Follow the rennlist links.
Good luck

Help please. I just bought a 92 968, and it did not come with an owners manual. Where is the hood relaease located? When I bought it, the seller opened it, but without the manual, I have not been able to find it.
Thanks for the hepl.

Don't know if the 968's hood release is the same as the 951's, but mine is located on the left driver's side footwall, its a black handle that you have to pull towards you. If it's not located there, then just contact the seller.

It should be saved as a .doc (MSWord) document, NOT pdf, so that this is not a problem.
When I download it at a "virgin" machine that doesn't host anything or have any documents related to the manual, it works fine.
Go figure. Are you running a reasonable processor? Maybe the doc is just too big for all images to load???
I'll add a PDF today for you though.

Yup - the pdf is up and running - and the initial document, a .doc file is working for me.
To get the bugger into PDF I had to basically ruin the pagination routine... but the content is un-changed.
