I remember reading about some seals are sub par, and one manufacturer had a real nice product that had two lips that contacted the crank for a better seal. I don't want to have a leak after putting the engine back in the car. I have the Victor rear main seal but hesitant to use it till I hear from some experienced people on the matter. What is the best seal out there? Thanks

Love my VR... just tapped it in gently with the head of a bolt until the seal is deeper that the blow "chamfered edge" or "beveled edge". 3 years strong & no leak or seep.

I think all of the seals will do a good job if installed properly. The best one however is the Elring Seal.

Yes, the Elring seal is the one. And I agree that the more important thing is proper installation.
