The cheapest way to replace the rear shocks to their stock quality is to use the Koni Yellows and they are ~$120/each. The disadvantage is that they have to be removed from the car in order to adjust their stiffness. With the KLA coil-overs, they can be adjusted while on the car. The **** is a little difficult to get to, but still better than having to remove them. Compare the prices and get whatever fits your budget.

The KLA's will raise the ride height slightly. They are a very good buy for the money (well, for any money as far as I am concerned, they are THAT GOOD). Your shocks are probably shot, and, depending on the miles and/or usage, the torsion bars may be getting worn. The KLA units are designed to be used in conjunction with the stock torsion bars. I would bet that your front struts are worn out as well, so this may end up opening a "pandora's suspension box". If you want to stick with a good, stock-like ride quality, while getting some noticibly improved handling qualities, go with:
Koni inserts and 200lb springs on the front (with the struts set to "soft")
KLA coil-overs with 10" 100lb springs on the rear set to "3 to 5"...... (a little tweaking of the eccentric bolt may be required).
