Thumbs up One of our own in Excellence!

I just got my December issue of Excellence in the mail and lo and behold there's an article on the 912 meet in Solvang. A large part of the article tells of the story of our very own Harry Hoffman and his 912. Way to go "Young Harry"!!

Even if you don't have a 944 we've kind of adopted you.

I think I may be the one responsible for coining the term "young Harry"- is'nt that better than "Old Harry"!?

Congrats Buddy! - You're my boy, Blue!

I guess I just lost the 5$ bet that the first person I KNOW in Excellence would be PERRY!

BTW- Is this just "wrong"?

it may become my new avatar..

What ever happened with Brian's story? Did anyone ever send it in? Did Excellence reply?

no, i was in the right place at the right time more or less... the writer was covering the show, and my situation seemed like a good story. more importantly, it wasnt what i did or didnt do that made the story, it was what the rest of the people i was with that made it what it was; with out their help, it wouldnt have been anything.

Perry deserves to be in excellence more than i. i havent hit the big time at all, i was just lucky to have such great friends and such a great organization support me and help me out.

i havent read it yet.. still not in stores here in columbus. i just hope that those who were there for me get their recognition. i plan on writing a letter to the editor, with a public thank you to those who did help me, and mention those, if they were left out of the article. specifically Paula Golus, John Thornton, John Benton, Dave Lovato, Howard Beard, Jeff Trask, Don Melcher, the board and members of the 912 registry and Chris Sokol, who with out them i would not have been able to make this trip, or get back home.

man, i cannot wait to read the article!

Darnit, I live less than 10 miles from Pete and still have not received my copy in the mail! This is Killing me!

I think that the mailwoman stole my copy. Maybe she has a Porsche. Hmmmm....
