Default Missing stud for timing belt cover

I replaced my front seals and water pump for my 1983 944 NA. As I removed the rear part of the timing belt cover, I noticed that there is no fastener (stud or bolt) on the lower right portion. The left part has a stud sticking out of it where a nut goes. However, there is nothing on the right one. I tried inserting a long bolt in hopes that it's threaded in there. No luck. Is there supposed to be a stud in there just like there is one in the left one? If so, where can I get a replacement stud?

Thanks in advance.

Do you know how long the bolts were? Did they go into the block?

They do go into the block. Best source for length is to look them up in PET.

I bought an M6 50 bolt and was able to screw it into the hole and it grabs. Thanks to all.
