Default Recommended spacers for Twist IIs - early offset

I've seen numerous pictures of these wheels on 944 series cars so I know it's possible. They're 8x18 50mm, 11x18 45mm, going on my 86 951

I'm looking for the optimal spacing to avoid tire rub and minimal fender rolling (if any). What is the go-to combination? I have several 1" bolt in spacers, some 7mm hubcentric spacers, and will order whatever else is needed. I've also heard that people have had to zip tie their brake lines back in the rear to avoid rub.
