How Much Would a NEW 944 Cost?

Oh yeah. I dont even like fishing BUT I love the ocean! Love to go swimming out there. Definetly a plan. I prefer the speed machines. I am going to take a jet ski out in the ocean next year. I have done it enough times on the lake I want the bigger challenge! BTW - all I have left is the bellhousing, got the exhaust last night, just have to move it out of the way.

it has the "performance axle". still does 70mph under 2000rpm.
i could barely get rolling today in the pouring rain. had to let the clutch out veerry gently or the tires would slip. slipped in a straight line though.
gotta get rid of the tinted window too. man its dark inside when its raining.

matt,
dont the vette boys get pissed when the word fiberglass is used to refer to any other gm product. arent we supposed to call it plastic?
im going by what my cousin, a gm engineer said when i sent him the pictures of the 944 that got rammed by the dodge ram. he pointed out weaknesses in the 944 design that were incorporated into the 93 camaro design. too bad they couldnt design the damn floor to be flat. didnt they move the cat in 93 so you didnt need the hump on the passenger floor.
im supposed to put a baby seat in the camaro for those just in case times, soa little extra crashworthiness and bigger doors swayed me towards the larger car.
Matt,
is 11mpg in mixed easy driving normal? i may dump the hypertech and the whopping six or seven horsepower for a little better mileage. its the green in me coming out (both ecologically and financially)
