AC Delete Assistance
Does anyone have any detailed or instructions on removing the ac compressor and relocating the alternator with the delete bracket? I purchased a kit with belt and the required hardware from 944. Finding a lack of detailed procedures online or the forums.
from my basic understanding;
-Remove the alternator.
--Okay, straightforward I think. Remove the Air Intake box and MAF. Remove the the engine guard. Remove Belt. Remove X4 bolts for alternator? and set aside. (SM-27-25)
-Remove the compressor.
--Undo Hose and Ribbed Belt. Unscrew any mounting and remove.
-Take the old bracket off - 4 bolts.
-Install the new bracket.
-Install alternator on the bracket - goes where the compressor used to sit.
Any additional outlines or procedures would be greatly appreciated. ill document my removal process as well. Danke'

So I've been studying the diagram anyhow and here's the protocol I've establish for finalizing the removal of the AC unit within a Porsche 1944 1985 I. Keep in mind I have already remove the heating and core/ (#33) blower and assemblies. Only thing left of my HVAC is in the firewall and engine.
Can someone please read the below outline and let me know if theirs any mistake or correction? Can i just pull and remove the Condenser as described below?
Removal of Condenser and Desiccator
-Undo X2 bolts holding Condenser (#1) and X2 Rubber Sleeves on upper housing (#2)
-Loosen and Remove X2 refrigerant lines (#7) to compressor and (#9) to Desiccator (#16).
-Remove (#1) Condenser Assembly
-Remove (#16) Desiccator Assembly and (#21) Refrigerant line to (#33) Air Conditioner Assembly Housing
Remove Compressor
-Loosen and Remove (#41) Turnbuckle to (#48) Compressor
-Loosen and Remove (#47) V-Belt
-Loosen and Remove Refrigerant lines (#7) and (#23) at compressor
-Undo Bolt (#49) at Compressor and Remove Compressor
-Undo Bolts (#39) and (#40) at (#37 Compressor Bracket) and Remove (#37) Bracket
