Default hood doesn't sit evenly

I just noticed that my hood is raised up a little above the fender on the passenger side when closed. It's a small amount...maybe 3-4mm higher than the other side. There doesn't seem to be anything getting in the way. It looks like it's resting on the rubber stops just like the driver's side, and every other angle seems perfect - all the panel gaps are even etc.

I can push it down but I can feel some resistance - it would take a lot of force to make it sit the way the driver's side sits.

It definitely wasn't like this before. I had it parked in the airport for a few days, but there's no evidence that anything happened to it - no dents or scratches anywhere. Any idea what could be causing this?

Yes it seems to be. Nothing happened to it and it latches and releases just fine.

My hood seems to be bending slightly on each side where the hood struts mount. I imagine the only solution would be to flex it back into place and weld in some support.

I'll try removing the struts and see if it sits properly then. I thought maybe I had closed the hood with a tool left on the strut tower but there's nothing there and I'm not missing any tools. I know it must have happened recently because it would not take long for me to notice this.
