Question Accessory Belts?

Are there any write ups online about replacing the accessory belts? I can't find my Haynes manual anywhere. Thanks!

Or maybe I should ask a simpler question. Which bolt do I have to loosen to get the belts of each pully?

There is a long bar that is connected to the A/C compressor. Using a 17 mm wrench losen the two bolts on either side of the bar, with these locking bolts out of the way you will notice that the bar has a hexagonal end on both ends, use that same 17mm wrench to losen the bar, bringing the AC compressor closer to the bock, thus losening the belt. (You will have to remove the power steering belt before taking the A/C / Alternator belt off.

Ohh, on those adjusters on side has right hand thread and the other left.

So you move the jam nuts in the same direction to losen.

One side is the ole righty tighty lefty loosy the other righty loose lefty tighty. Problem is that the adjuster could be installed either way in the car so I cannot tell you to which is which. Best thing is grab a bolt and compare the threads. On one side they will follow the same pattern. On the other they won't. Guess what! Now you know which is the left hand thread and which is right. Go at it with two 17mm open ends!

The powersteering adjuster is the same thing except it uses a 13mm.

I'm assuming this is all on the underside since I can't see it from the top.
