Question Cargo Cover

Whats the distance between the cargo cover and the carpet floor? 6"? 8"? 1986 944 N/A.

Im trying to plan my car audio install since im bored Need to see if I can build a box that will fit under there for subs. I know amps will fit no problem.

A friend had a pair of subs under there in an up-firing box, so I know they'll fit no problem. Sorry, I'm nowhere near my cars so I can't measure for you.

Do you remember if they were 10" or 12"?

Just measure from the mounting points to the floor. Or am I missing something?

I seem to remember 10, but I really don't know.

Im just asking out of morbid curiosity. And so I know in advance weather or not to shell out $160CDN for a pair of 12" A/D/S subs.

I've seen people building boxes for 10's in the sidepods and putting the amps in the spare tire space. Then you can still put the sunroof back there!!

Yeah thats the route I might go for the subs themselves.

Im planning on a 2 or 3 amp setup tho to do what I want, I doubt theyd all fit neatly.
