Default 1987 944 AC wiring

Help! Does any one have a wiring diagram or knowledge of the wiring schematic between the Climate control unit in the dash and the AC compressor, My compressor does not cut in when the snowflake switch is pressed. If I power the compressor direct the AC works fine. I have checked that the AC relay works when the switch is pressed which it does but there is no power to the compressor.
There is a switch on the receiver dryer that I thought was a low pressure cut out but only seems to control the cooling fan speeds. So what I need to know is what happens after the AC relay in the fuse box is activated and where does the power go from the relay, obviously not directly to the compressor. Thanks in advance Ian

Ian, did you check continuity on 30,87, and 87a terminals? My relay moves, but had no continuity on poles 30 and 87. Might be worth checking.

Thanks for the message I had already checked all of the connections on the relay in the fuse box I traced power in and out of the pressure switch at the RD but no feed to the compressor so wasn't sure where power went after the pressure switch. I assume maybe it goes to the compressor but maybe not directly, anyway I ran a new wire from the out side of the pressure switch straight to the compressor and now it works fine.
