Default Kudos to Keith! (X2) w/ pics

Kudos to the Keiths (icat and Keith from NC) for their detailed descriptions of the 968 door handle upgrades. I'm $225 poorer, but one set of 968 handles richer It took me about 2.5 hours to do the driver's door and 30 minutes to do the passenger. I couldn't have done it w/o you guys, Keith(s). Thanx for the help! Here's before and after:

Good job!

I've got a bunch of 968 door handle parts laying around, need to get them done during the winter I guess...

The plastic piece from the actuator had come off the lock. I took off the panel, popped the plastic back onto the ball and had it all back together w/in 20 minutes. Works like a charm. It feels good to get this all done

You're most welcome! And to top it off, you're now a member of the 968 Door Handle Advisory Committee (968DHAC)!

As I mentioned, the first side is the toughest, and everyone there after gets easier. Now all you need is the Aero Mirrors to complete "the look". Enjoy!

Are there any dues?

I like those seats a lot....much more comfy than the seats in my 944. The pass side is also power!

I bought the car in Feb of this year. The pinstripes were on it then. I got it from a fellow rennlister who got it from a guy in IA that repaired it after an accident. He may have added the pinstripes. At the back of the car, the "artist" signed his name in the pinstripe. It's pretty cool. I'll get a pic and post it.

Thanx Dan and Tifo! The 968 mirrors are definitely on the list, but I don't think they're next. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to get the 968 antenna from Rennbay. The windshield antenna ain't wurf a sh&@!

The antennae from Rennbay is not amplified. Get the real thing if you want an improvement in reception and not an aesthetic upgrade.....
