Just removed the under pan / light duty skid plate that I built before last rally. It's very light (maybe 5 lbs), and I've put perhaps 1500 kms with it on. I can clearly state that the car handles better with it than with out it. And my confidence is a bit higher with it, however it doesn't offer as much protection as I'd like so I will rivet thin stainless plate on the bottom (I think).
Okay, so I have stated I failed at making louvers. Was really bummed last night & still in a state of confusion today. Do I waste more time on louvers? The problem is most home made louvers are homely... and I'd like my car to look nice again.
YOU FEELING LUCKY PUNK? WELL ARE YA? no actually.

Thank you very much Adonay! I am anxious to built a rear diffuser & possibly a mid belly tray before next event. Will post pics on this thread.
Was visiting my favourite Porsche Magazine website this morning and found some sultry inspiration:

"design language" ... I like that!
Yes, I detested the pop up for a time. The are obsolete. But very cool in there own way.
Personally I don't really like the "GTS headlight" look on turbo front ends... prefer the look on NA.
Found these photos while rummaging... getting excited for winter fun!

Ok, trying to make headlight parts work.
HUGE THANKS to my friend Darcy from High River for helping me out with motors & headlight mechanisms. I sold Wilson's original stuff for super cheap because I never thought I'd go back.
Any way, I must be tired because it's taking me several evenings to sort this stuff.
MAJOR BUMMER... the E-code headlight I got have discolouration to the reflection shell on the inside. Dang, I was excited to run with those.
I scuffed everything in an attempt to de-grease, removed overspray & rust, etc using a cocktail of water, dish soap, spray nine & vinegar. Repainted the main bar with "flat aluminum" and simple rust paint for the frame mounts.
