I'd really like it if someone made reproductions of those door panels.

Really... How about in CF? What would be an acceptable price?

Oh Skip, you're such a tease

I've been thinking about it for awhile. Something similar to the RS/RSA style panels (door strap & all) that the turtle guys have. Price would be comparable to those...say, $400/under for a pair?

I think GT racing already does. Notice you can't use rollup windows with them also.

Personally I'd like to get the minimal center console from one of those cars. Notice how it doesn't extend down to where a radio should be and obviously doesn't extend back along the tunnel to surround the shift lever.

I would love a pair too and just use a cutout to mount the window switches or relocate the switch block.

I'm not sure there is actually space in the door to use rollup windows, certainly not powered ones. That said, I think I read Derrick Bell's GTS has power windows.

I'm pretty sure the doors on that car are glass fiber, is that correct or not?

man thats pricey.... looks like a great car, but the question is, would it be able to outperform my new (well old) alfa? 1969 GTV 1750 putting out about 100 to the wheels?

Considering a 924GTS has a 250hp powerplant, I'd guess... yes :P

you guys can't compare hp without thinking about the hp-to-weight ratio.

Ken: i would think US$500 would be more like a normal price for a pair. I am not made of money either...

I'd be happy if i could just get this sub-par C-GTS black '87 924 S that's been sitting at this auto body shop in my neighborhood for a couple months... it's super clean (looks like it got a paint job) , got an impeccable black interior, low miles and no sensible pcar enthusiast to enjoy it - all for USD2500.00 and change... Ah, back to reality..

I thought the hood scoop was functional on these cars? The intercooler sat on top of the engine and was fed cool air from the scoop. Or am I dreaming?...... again
