An update for everyone that ordered relays due to a note from Dave F.

I have the skirted Hella relays in hand. However, the Delphi terminals that go into the sealed base are on backorder. They actually have the terminals in big spools of 10,000 but need to send the spools out to be chopped up and put into piece bags. This will take a week to 10 days then a few days via UPS to me.

I can't do anything about the delay. I tried to get them to chop off a strip of 400 terminals but they won't do it. Probably just as well as it takes forever and a day to use a side cutter and cut off all the terminals from a strip that long. Hard on your skin, too.

Anyway, that is the status. Depending on how many relays Brian McCoy wants, I think I have 10 relays available to anyone that is late to the offer.

Dan,
No worries on my end. It's for the winter project, so if they get here by January, I'm happy.

Thanks for keeping us posted, and many thanks for organizing the group purchase of products whose quality far exceeds what was originally installed on our cars.

GOOD NEWS!

I guess even a small fish can move things. Just got a call and terminals will be chopped and shipped to me by November 6. And however long it takes UPS to deliver. So everyone send in their checks at $15 per relay, base and terminals. For you guys that are getting 4 or less relays add $5 for USPS and all the boxes and peanuts I need to buy. You guys that are getting 6 or more relays, I have to check on the postage costs, but I think I can do it for about the same. I may ask you for a buck or two extra after I see what USPS charges. Guys that are getting other stuff like battery cables, it doesn't make a difference in cost.

To make this easier from a paper work point of view, include your current address with your check so I don't screw shipping up.

Good Halloween!

Turned out good on this front, now let's see about the little people that show up tonight. LOL!

No problem, Dave.

Actually, your note got me sort of irritated at Delphi so I called a gal there that originally sent me some samples way back when. She has apparently grown in power because she kicked *** and got things going.

Send in checks, the bases and terminals showed up. The base silicone sealing is a nice pretty blue color.
