Superchexx

I have an '88 944S that emits a binding or creaking noise from the wheel well area when I turn the steering wheel back and fourth. This only happens on the drivers side. The front passenger wheel well is quiet. Also makes the same creaking noise on the left front side if I push up and down on the front bumper.

Any ideas on where to start?
