Default The New DME Has Arrived!!!

I am pleased to announce that the first batch of the new DME is available!

I am offering special introductory pricing, but I should warn you that I have a limited supply. If I sell out it will be a 1 to 2 weeks for the next batch to come in.

Please see the product page at www.ftech9.com for more information.

I would like to thank everyone for their support!

Should you get around to design a new DME for the 968, would it be possible to add OBD features to the DME?

I'll keep watching for the 944 S2 version. One in the works?

Default S2 DME /w OBD

I do intend to eventually come out with both an S2 DME and OBD support, but it each one is going to require a very large effort. In the case of the S2 DME, I will need to buy a 944 S or S2 as a development platform, obviously a big investment. Because of this, OBD would be released on my current generation of DMEs long before development on a S2 DME would even begin. Unless someone is going to donate a 16-valve 944 or I can get crowed sourced funds, that is just how it is going to play out.

Is the S and S2 DME the same? I think the s2 DME changed in 91 didn't it?

Try a Kickstarter campaign and you never know. if the offer were decent I'd probably be in

I assume this includes the 88 MJ 924s as well? My DME is still working well - please explain advantages switching over to a new DME.

Best,

Any chance you'll allow shipping outside of the US on your website order form?

Hard for me to assess the market for a new DME for the 968 but I know of one vendor who sold within the last three years in excess of 50 supercharger kits for the 968.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of them would be very interested in such a DME especially if has OBD support and takes account of boost.

OBD support would probably make me open my wallet for this and a MAF kit.

are you thinking an integrated wifi/Bluetooth chip?

I now have eBay listings for the Turbo and NA DMEs with a refundable core charge added to the shipping. If you need a new DME fast or don't want to put your 944 down while you wait this option will help out. This also means you can use PayPal as payment. The listing also has extended descriptions with some background information.

Also, my Solid-State Relays are now listed on Amazon and eBay!

It will work with the A-Tune and M-Tune setups, but please let me know in advance if you need that compatibility.

Audi people are fans of the euro "comfort blinker" blinker relay swap that gives you three flashes of a turn signal with a quick press of the turn signal stalk. If 944 (etc.) people are interested that also might be good product to offer in solid state.

Are you offering this as an available option?

EDIT - just re-read. I'd step up for one if you decide to offer this.
